Job Description

Job Purpose: Identifying gaps in manpower allocation and coordinating with HR for recruitment and staff selection in EHS team.


Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Designing audit template, preparing audit schedule, allotting auditors, conducting EHS Internal audits across all the projects and making reports of the projects audited in the Organization.

2. Identifying training needs for the workers, site EHS officers, Projects Heads, Sr. Leadership, Office employees, workers camp boss etc.

3. Developing training modules and conducting trainings for the workers, site EHS officers, Project Heads, Sr. Leadership, office employees, sales staff, and workers camp boss etc.

4. Implementing Theme Based Safety Approach program by running campaigns on various critical concern areas across sites by developing modules either pictorial or verbose, checking the effectiveness, and reporting to the Management.

5. Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety.

6. EHS MIS and other records updating and maintaining as per EHS MS and ISO requirements.

7. Maintaining EHS materials inventory, Meeting with Project team and Contractors for smooth operations and compliance of EHS MS.

8. Monthly EHS NC analysis and accordingly conducting meetings with concerns for timely closure.

9. Ensure good housekeeping standards maintained at project and labor colonies.

10. Knowledge and understanding for EHS awards application process and practical experience for site implementation as per Awards Criteria.

11. Planning and coordinating with Project Managers and EHS team for smooth operations.

12. Coordination with Electrical, Mechanical, and other departments for all EHS aspects.

 

Education and Experience

1. Diploma or Bachelor’s or other related discipline required.

2. 12+ years of project experience working in the construction industry required.

3. Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines

4. Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies.

5. Experience of Handling High-rise towers and township projects.

6. As a team leader handled and work with team of 10-15 EHS Executives

7. Certification and experience of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 standards requirements and implementation part at project and in other departments.
