The first TBM, named Tulsi, had excavated 64 metres beneath the park by 24 September 2026. Reported targets, subject to change

BMC’s 2025-26 budget document also describes a proposed elevated GMLR connector from the Mindspace Malad junction on the Mumbai Coastal Road (North) to the starting point of the GMLR in Goregaon East.
